While the rest of the world markets are getting cleaner, I say, "Cleaner, Compared To What?"... When you start from a base of institutionalized corruption, any improvement looks good on paper... An example is the Russian market... On paper it is cleaner than it was when investors lost fortunes... But compared to other world markets it's a dangerous place to invest... The U.S. is still the place where the little guy/girl has a better chance of growing their money than in other countries, market bubbles aside... Yes, we have a lot of cleaning up to do, but I'll take my dirty laundry over that of France, Zimbabwe, and all the other foreign markets...
