Cramer is part of the problem! TheStreet.coms cramer was on the pbs charlie rose show tonite. first time i had seen him on tv (i live in the mountains and don't have cable--no maria, no squawk box :). apart from appearing to be off his meds, he managed to hem and haw his way through charlie's 'tough' questions (such as: is there anything that you have done that, while not illegal, was inappropriate) in such a way that left little doubt, at least in my mind, that cramer is right in the middle of the wall street hype and manipulation. he acknowledged touting stocks that he 'knew would go up' (duh, maybe because you were touting them jimmy!)even though there was no fundamental reason to buy the company. also spoke about being investigated by the feds in the mid 90s. he may or may not actually be a crook as the recent book about him implies, but the interview certainly revealed him to be sufficiently smarmy to steer your widowed aunt away from him. all imho, of course. id
