AGM (continued) - How can this amazing performer tank from $46 to $22 in less than a month?
First off, I have no position in AGM, none at all, but let's look at the total picture here. I feel strongly that this is a great example of manipulation via the snowball effect.
**** FIRST, Let's look at their 5 year growth

The earnings growth is stunningly strong and consistent. How can a stock of a major corporation like Farmer Mac go from $46 to $22 in a month?
MANIPULATOR's MODUS OPERANDII IS SIMPLE AND CRIMINAL
I have no problem with short sellers, none at all. I do have a problem with organized criminals who target certain stocks with wild rumors, purposeful media smear campaigns, hiring of Yahoo bashers, etc. They are obviously taking advantage of the currrent extreme fear in the Markets. They know that if they can start a rumor and get some to believe it, a massive panic selloff will occur as traders are selling first and asking questions later. The "Snowball Effect".
I am also bothered that some don't care. They even welcome it as it creates volatility and good buy points. True, but where's the integrity? Hopefully not even radical traders think everyone who wants to invest should have to quit their real jobs to effectively play the Markets.
OTHER QUESTIONS
Are shareholders a thing of the past? Are you in fact stupid to be a shareholder? Is the market becoming too much of a game for that? If any stock can be manipulated, no matter how large or how strong their performance, it would seem so I guess.
