James - it is a wicked web...

I think they need to force Cheney to disclose the information now. If he refuses, he could be held in contempt of Congress, and impeached, and removed,
if necessary.

These are real problems, that have cost shareholders,
and employees their jobs, and billions of dollars.

They should disclose everything now...it may only get worse if they try stonewalling, and could get ugly. I think Bush could help himself politically now by having full disclosure of all ties with Enron, and if Halliburton is found to have done a WorldCom, while Cheney was CEO, he must resign.

I had not realized until yesterday that Harvey Pitt had called for laxer oversight when he first took over. Not a good decision in hindsight...

Matt:
Another Andersen link... This time to Halliburton and Cheney...

So, we have Enron, WorldCom, Harken Energy, Merck, and Halliburton tied to Anderson... And, Bush and Cheney tied into Harken and Halliburton... And, Cheney will not release the notes to the Enron White House discussions... Anyone see a connection here? : >
