Ron, this is exactly what RICOCHET (sp?) offers out here. They have installed wireless transmitters all over No CA Bay Area. The cost is rather high, but portable, I am not certain it is spread spectrum or not, but have a hunch it is otherwise how could a coupe thousand users be operational at one time? Speed is great BTW. It would be intereating to see what the monthly service charges WaveRider charges. Thanks for the post ;-)
