I loved the Jefferson's and the Beverly Hillbillies.

True Story: When I was in high school my writing teacher assigned us to write a paper about the perpetuation of class distinctions and stereotypes in an episode of the Beverly Hillbillies. Since it was in reruns twice a day, we could choose any episode. But there were no VCR's....so I put a cassette tape recorder (one of those old ones with the handle and the big speaker) up next to the TV one day and "taped" the audio of an episode. I listened to it over and over writing notes for my paper. It was amazing how many little things were buried in that script. I wish I had saved the paper.

Jethro was one of my role models. <g>
