I have a couple of friends who never miss Sex in the City. I can understand it. The clothes are fun. But once you've seen three episodes, you've got the idea, was my experience, and that's all there is. And there's something repellent and, sorry, insane, in that show, to me, that I can't quite explain. To me. That outbalances anything interesting. To me. Do you know how rich those women would have to be to live and dress the way they do in New York? Suspension of disbelief never comes. Interest in any of the characters never comes.
To me, of course, I mean.
Edit: I just noticed your 'political correctness' comment, and don't see what you mean. How would not liking that show be PC? |
