"It's supremely vulgar and callow, imo" It is probably not the best usage of "callow". Ask N. Maybe I am being too purist. Perhaps it was the juxtaposition with "vulgar" which did it. No. After staring at it and watching tv for a few minutes, I am going to withdrwaw that. Clearly a callow person can be vulgar.
