It seems that American Idol auditions are about to begin again.

I do hope they change the voting procedures by then.

After Tamyra was bumped, I saw a suggestion that people vote for the one they want to boot rather than for their favorite. That makes sense to me from the perspective of elevating the best candidates. And I hope they do something about the automated voting. By next time this year, every teeny bopper will have installed the software to do that.
