Morning JLA I've got a story about gnocchi.... just married....and D wanted to make a recipe for spinach gnocchi.... all day in the kitchen...I mean hours and hours..... we still don't know what happened....but.... we're at the table...and I've got about 200 of those little doobers on my plate....and I'm starving....I'm also gonna let the Mrs. know I appreciate the effort.... So, I load up the fork....and dive in.....and something is really, really wrong....but I deal with that bite.....I'm watching D to see her reaction.....being less of an eating machine than I, she pops one gnocchi into her mouth and her eyes tell the story....something IS really wrong.... Like the man I am....I cut the next gnocchi in half.....cause I'm not giving up yet...and I try....really try to eat another.... And we look at each other and EXPLODE in laughter..... Nuclear Gnocchi........we concluded it was an overdose of oregano.....they were perfectly inedible..... It's been 21 years since that meal and if the word gnocchi comes up in conversation....we still howl. Shootie
