Poet,

I have been waiting for you to share this story. Disappointed up to this time, that it was taking you so long. <wink> Of course I am jesting, though as you know I was quite interested in hearing how the trip went.

What an amazing story. From your saying that you became a Mom in the Boston Airport, to your daughter's return from the Korea, nearly 20 years later. She has expressed a tremendous amount of courage embarking on such a trip. I also have a great respect for your willingness to allow and hopefully not feel threatened by your daughter exploring her birth heritage.

Do keep us posted on what her reaction is as she has time to absorb and reflect on this part of her life.

Most of us, have never faced the blessings and challenges of adopting a child from overseas, much less the story that has unfolded for your family. I bet I speak for more than just myself, when I say that it would be most interesting to live vicariously through you in this chapter of life.
