Hi everyone, I'm new to this topic. I read the web page, and it all sounds very interesting. Of course there will always be questions and doubts about new products, but one that I noticed is that reid said...

>> My friend ... wished to use an external antenna...to which they stated that in no way did they want users to use an external (outdoor) antenna because the FCC mandated that NOT to occur. <<

But on the web page, in the FAQ section, they had the following question and answer.

>>Q) Will I need an antenna?
The end user modem is equipped with an 8" rubber ducky antenna. In certain circumstances where a user may live at the very edge of a coverage area, an external (outside of the house) antenna can be used.<<

It is disconcerting when some of their info says one thing, and they tell people something else. It's little discrepencies like this that make me uneasy.

Thank you, Ron, for starting this thread. It looks like a good one.

Ben
