There is a "Stock Club" message board on hypernews.org. Just checking some random stocks, the typical last posting was five years ago. The last post on INTC was 4 years ago. There doesn't seem to be any non-threaded list where one could find the last message ported to any topic. I added a message today just to see if it works. It does. The boards have just fallen out of use (like many, probably). I tested the search engine. It works. The latest postings (there are some) seem to be all spam. A Science board has had just 3 postings since 1999. If "hypernews is the skeleton in this closet", the remains show it to be quite dead.
