I just wrote a long reply to this post and lost it in the ether. I could just scream. This has happened several times recently, though this is the first time it's happened to a public post, I think.
I'm going to go watch NYPD Blue, which I taped, and then go to bed, instead of screaming.
I had done edit...copy, out of habit, since I do that now with PM's, before clicking submit, but when I tried to paste what I thought i'd copied into the startlingly empty window, this is the only word I'd picked up:
