So when one of the people whom you describe says, of themselves, "I am a spiritual person," what, about themselves, are they referring to? The simple fact that they believe in a Greater Power?

I get the impression that they mean something more. Just as religious people seem to mean something more when they say, distinguishing themselves from other religious people, "I am a very spiritual person," or "She is...."
