E..cats are fantastic..you need to alter this. They are super cool..and very self reliant. Almost the perfect animal..sorta like bananas are the perfect snack

if i didn't have at least a couple wandering around the place would seem empty

they have special places that they deposit their prey, depending on whether it was an inside kill or outside. Birds go near the back door while mice are displayed near their bowl

"lookie what I did...just for you..aren't I great?..now leave me alone"...that was the normal exchange between human and cat after a good night on the hunt
