The body is like a magnet to CO. IF it is in the vicinity of the body, it will be absorbed.

Assume that any exposure is damaging. Avoid any combustion gasses. Keep fresh air flow constant in home and auto. Always assume HVAC techs have been drilled that "a little CO doesn't hurt".....they will be flippant to the discovery of small amounts...yet they will ignore the fact that CO has a 4.5 hour half life.....what they find is only a small sample of the total that may be accumulating in your baby's bedroom.

Assume it is the most toxic substance you will ever encounter.
