LU Closed up only 5.56% on volume about 1.5x its daily average. There were good up ticks in the first 30 minutes as well as in the last 30 minutes. (More than 10M shares were traded in each period.<g>) The last 30 minutes performance may be due in part to Patricia Russo's comments on CNBC stating that she expects LU to be profitable in 2003.
