Until the entire world gets terrorism brought down, I think we are going to have to do similar things. Most of us truly wish this wasn't necessary. But then ObL saying he wanted Americans to die, and the USS Cole, the US Embassies, the first WTC, and of course 9-11 weren't necessary either.

Do most other countries in the world screen the tourists as they come in and move about? My guess is yes, they do.
