a few days ago, John posted some stuff about how Republicans use the race card.

in a PM i reminded john that in the last election cycle we had the ad, by dem's run in black area's showing the chains on the back of a pickup truck with Texas licenseplates.

now I asked him if that race bating. we exchanged a few emails back and forth but he never would admit that the dem's were guilty of things, perhaps more so.

i think we need to be honest about our politics. i would prefer that candidates really ran on the issues they espouse not on trying to smear their opponents. this trend is another example of a serious decline in morals. it's sad!
