The dinner specials tonight are prime rib, fried catfish, and smothered porkchops. Side dishes are garlicky mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, creamed spinach, steamed asparagus (lots of butter), baked beans, cole slaw, and fried green tomatoes.
The soups de jour are chicken andouille gumbo and navy bean soup.
As always, if you don't see anything you like, you can order from the breakfast menu, 24/7. Our biscuits float like angels.
As always, any kind of pie you like, any kind of beer you like. I recommend the cushaw pie (whipped cream if you want it) and the house IPA.
Please take your coat and hat off, and relax from a busy day of moderating.
If you request, our waitresses will massage your feet. Modestly dressed, of course, this isn't THAT kind of place. |
