At the risk of boring everyone else in the "bar & grill" with economic drivel, let me point out that exchange rates have a lot to do with interest rates and the sunken consumer confidence figures of the other day and the expectation of an interest rate cut by the Fed next week are pushing the USD lower as we speak.

I would suggest you change a part of your USD assets into GBP, if you have concerns about the Eurozone - UK economy has been doing remarkably well in comparison to the rest of Europe.
