Kumar, The black politicians from around Miami, are trying to make it a racial problem. It is odd that this flap happened with only 5 days to go before the election for Governor in Florida, with Bush leading in the polls by 6 points. At a Republican meeting, the contingent of black Democrats stormed in and demanded that Jeb do something about it, and allow the Haitians to stay. He tried to explain that the INS rulings are a national thing, and cannot be decided in state government, but they still would not relent. Jeb did all he could do, and that was to call his Brother and ask him to see what he could do about the situation. Black politicians are still not satisfied, even though the workings of the INS has been explained to them in detail. They have manufactured a problem, where none should exist.
