As I may have mentioned before, as much as that black congresswoman tried to embarrass Jeb at a rally, the people that care about the Haitians were not going to vote for him anyway. This stunt may back fire on them. It may bring about more stringent measures to see that they don't get anywhere near the coast of Florida, or any other state.
I may sound a bit biased here, but don't mean to be, but the Cuban boat people were leaving a communist regime, and many of them were the solid citizen types. The Haitians that I have seen, or heard talking, are not the productive type, and found a way into America because of the government goodies they can latch on to. We don't need any more of those kind of people. Again, I am not referring to black people, because many of the productive Cubans are black. There is a different mind set between the Cubans, and Haitians. |
