When I was in junior high and high school, I was given a card at the University library and access to the stacks. And there were no checkpoints or searches when you left. It was expected that if you were given those privileges, you would be honest enough to check out any material you took with you.

My, how times have changed. And not for the better.

I tried to get the article to paste but couldn't access the page.
A lot of net sites are turning off copy privileges to protect their copyright. There are ways of defeating that. I know one, but it only works on some sites. Probably Computer Learning could provide better methods.

I see I'm behind hundreds of posts but I have to go soon!
