No one seems to have an answer...and that concerns me. It means to me that the economic and employment malaise will continue for some time ~~ the next couple of years at least.

I've said for a LONG time....the Governments should ask the recruiters what the status of the economy is....we know at least 6-9 months ahead of time what's coming (or not coming) down the pike. We knew this was going to be tough by April 2000....and by September 2000 were openly talking about it in our Associations. WAY before the US election of 2000.
