<the reason for the death penalty is simple. Revenge. The good old "Mosaic Code." I don't give a damn about deterrence.>

What's wrong with deterrence? Another is to stop them doing it again [including in prison]. While they are alive, there's a chance of them escaping [as per Saddam releasing all the prisoners] and then they'll have another go.

Then there's the obscenity of OJ Simpson hanging out, girls flocking to him [which never ceases to amaze me about women - many of them love guys like that, which is obviously why the gene pool is full of them], while the parents of his victims have to suffer the fact that he enjoyed his murder of their children, then gets to strut around like King Kong.

I don't know how parents of the murdered can cope with that situation. What would stop me killing him would be the fear that I was getting the wrong person - if a jury let him off, I'd be scared that I was wrong. Imagine murdering somebody who it turned out didn't do it. Not only would you have your own murdered children to suffer, you'd then have terrible guilt.

I say we need a fair trial and then a fair hanging!

We left-wing liberals have had enough of wishy-washy right wing Christian wackoes who say thou shalt not kill.
