I would love to be a fly on the wall in Saddam's room right now. A fly which understood Arabic, of course. I have no doubt that his "local government" is of the opinion that the presence of the US military "isn't wanted." According to the Japanese, we "weren't wanted" in their end of the Pacific, and the German "local government" didn't want us in their end of Europe. Too bad.
