Hi CobaltBlue; I had no idea that Hitler did anything other than architecture. In fact, I seem to recall reading somewhere that he never drew anything will people in it (and that was supposed to be significant).

The link states that he made a living doing art, which I would guess was a pretty tough row to hoe in Vienna between the wars. The fact that he survived more than just a few months of it probably indicates that someone was buying his stuff somewhere.

I may tool around the rest of that site. I sometimes get the feeling that Hitler is painted more flat than he actually was. That is, he never seems to be a fully dimensioned character in any of the histories I've read.

By the way, I'm reading "The Fall of Berlin", and the author suggests that Hitler had normal sexual relations with Eva Braun. One piece of evidence he gave was that in the last few days in the bunker, when Eva decided to die with him instead of escape, he kissed her on the mouth passionately.

The book is more interesting than the title would suggest, largely by bringing in personal stories. I suppose I'll eventually get around to writing a book report and posting it.
