I am a Philip K. Dick fan myself. I believe I have a copy of everything he ever wrote, although I can't bring myself to read the final writings -- not sure how to describe, maybe theological? Valis was the last thing I read all the way through and I did not like it. I loved Ubik best, and Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? almost as much. Dick used to be my favorite science fiction writer, but William Gibson has that honor now. Runners up are James Tiptree, Jr. and Joanna Russ. Minority Report is an excellent movie. Blade Runner doesn't do the story as well as the book does, but the visuals are so stunning.
