JFQ-- If it's 'goofy' you seek, there are plenty of threads where sentiment clouds reason. One might identify 'goofy' by any number of measurements, and I offer only a few suggested indicators. 1. Buying an equity BECAUSE the stock price is up 2000% over the last three years. 2. Assuming that a sound technology is also a sound investment. 3. Thinking that any company growing at more than 25% annually won't soon face real competetion from larger companies (especiallly when barriers to entry are minimal)... Now if its 'GOOFI' you're looking for, then I suggest one look inward; that 'GOOFI' is a state of mind. And Disneyland? I think of the whole market as my Disneyland and the individual stocks as the rides. Wanting to maximize my fun, I prefer getting on rides with the short lines. Regards, TBG Paul
