Ran across a couple of things on the Greatest Jeneration blog that had escaped my attention - they were so over the top they couldn't possibly be true - so I checked them out - and they're true.
greatestjeneration.com

Alec Baldwin really did call for stoning Henry Hyde and his family to death (on the Conan Obrien show)!
secure.mediaresearch.org

CBS really did run a graphic saying "snipers wanted" while showing George W. Bush's image at the GOP convention (on the Craig Kilborn show - who he?)!
fcc.gov

Julianne Malveaux really did say about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, "I hope [Thomas’s] wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter, and he dies early, like many black men do, of heart disease. . . .He’s an absolutely reprehensible person."

Tom Daschle's comments seem even sillier after reading the above. I've never heard Rush or any other right wing commentator threaten to stone Daschle and his family to death, or run a graphic saying "snipers wanted" under a photo of Daschle, or even say that they wished Daschle's wife would feed him too much fatty food so he died of heart disease.
