One of the biggest rackets in the Country! California is a good example of it.

Our problem here is known to you who have read Mitchner's "Hawaii." Castle and Cook, et al, had the islands tied up for years on prices. They would not let the mainland stores in. It is just in the last few years that the stores have got in and broke prices. I think that Chevron makes 75% of it's retail gas profit here in the Islands.

This is the worst Union state in the Country. They own the Dem party, and own the Gov. We are in a permanent state of depression. Makes it good for us old farts, rent does not go up.
