I've mentioned before that I recently turned 50. I certainly don't feel 50, and I don't think I look 50.

So I found it rather uncanny yesterday when I started a conversation with a man who was sitting at the table next to mine during lunch yesterday. He was there for a case, I had just finished a status conference, so we both had some time and just talked for half an hour about this and that. I was amazed to learn that he was over 70 -- somewhere around 75. His hair was white but he looked maybe 50 to me.

I can't tell if older people are just healthier these days or now that I am older, old people don't look so old.

It seems like there are two kinds of people -- those that die in their 50's, and those that go on forever.
