Yep, I agree 100%. There was a story I read in the Trib Sunday where a 30 something who was an exec at some software firm and was making $180k a year, was laid off and was now making $9 an hour at a chain store...He whined how hard it was. The only thing I could think of was how could he be broke, why didn't he save some of that high salary? People have become so drunk on spending every dime they earn & then use every penny of credit available to them they have forgotten to save for a rainy day.
