ROFLMAO! ROFLMAOWTIME! Aw c'mon CB Heston wasn't so bad in Ben Hur was he? Stephen Boyd was the penultimate heavy Messala wasn't he? Didn't you just HATE him? He was good, really good. Cedrick Hardwick as Joseph of Arimethea was awful though. If they do a remake, the Arab guy with the white horses should be played by the guy who did the voice of the Tatooine trader in "Phantom Menace." You know, "Jedi mind tricks don't work on me.. only money." :o}}}}}}}} Tony Curtis was truly abysmal in Spartacus, thank God it was only a bit part. Kirk Douglas was FABULOUS! He WAS Spartacus. Laurence Olivier was wickedly good as the Roman General. Charles Laughton was also great.
