good point.. I always make sure I have the can on the ground .. I have a plastic one and a metal one.. Always make sure the nozzle is tight against the side of the cans.. I witnessed a driver loading a truck at the rack one day and the compartment was almost completely full and it blew... I also had a driver use gasoline one time to clean stains on the garage floor in house and the hot water heater went on and blew up the garage.. He escaped and saved the house with a water hose.. Not to smart.. years ago ,, many mechanics would clean the garage floor with gas and blow up the place. The squeegee would run along the floor and spark..
Oh, another time a guy blew up the place .. he was smoking under the vent pipes when a truck was unloading at the station. Remember those pipes running up the side of the service stations.. fumes are heavier than air so they drop and can run along the ground... I expect all that stuff is removed these days.. Trucks carrying back with them all the fumes from unloading. etc.
