Galambos did not seek this kind of "Religious" attitude, but the people who took his courses were so awed by him that they became "Followers." There is a generic version of "God said it, I believe it, and that's it."

Ayn Rand seemed to have the same problem. Though I think she enjoyed it immensely - she had the core ideas right, but she was a demagogue. Galambos was less a prisoner of his own ego.
