I am new to this board. When you say 13 week moving average? How do you set that up on the charts? I'm familiar with the 13 day moving average and exponential moving averages, but how do you set up a 13 week moving average? Thanks,

Welcome GR...

The 13 week MA title is a little misleading... My scan looks for stocks = > the highest price in the past 13 weeks... It also looks for increasing money flow into the stock being considered... I then use a 13 day MA for support signals...

As for putting a 13 week MA on a chart, most charting software will allow you to do it... Just use a 65 day period (13 weeks x 5 days)... BigCharts.com has a section called Interactive Charting that will allow you to set your own chart parameters... bigcharts.marketwatch.com
