Ah Wizard Weiss, You've come round to the very nub of my original query:

Yes, how does one know when to sell a formerly GOOFS stock ? Its the
question I have been seeking an answer to since my initial posting here
at #235. I know if I am patient enough, I will know after the fact
when I should have sold, having completed the full "GOOFS-LOOP" that
the astounding NGW referred to, some time back. But that is of little
value, very little value, perhaps negative value. I know that the
best time to sell in retrospect is the time when one feels most
compelled to buy. One has to get twisted in order to
get it straight. But then I normally succumb to the inner desires for
wealth (yes greed and avarice are among my many virtues). Perhaps I
should aspire to be poor, absolutely destitute, free of any material bonds
and then free to sell for fear of becoming bonded by wealth. But
still there's no timing trigger to know when. Perhaps this question has
no answer. I'll bet Janice knows, but she doesn't seem to want to talk
over here, despite my many pleas.

Regards, Mike
