If the inspectors are allowed to talk to those in Iraq. They are the ones with most current knowledge. It is fair to assume, with the long warning he had, that Saddam has done all he can to hide the evidence.

Currently Iraq is resisting allowing inspectors to talk to those in Iraq?

But would they talk? Would you? It's worth your life and that of your family to say anything.

So the only hope would be Iraqis outside the country. And only those who got everyone they care about out of Iraq. Which can't be many.

I think that if nothing shows up from the inspections themselves and nothing can be ascertained from examining the scientists, Bush will have a real problem signing on nations to go to war with him. I think that if nothing shows up from the inspections themselves and nothing can be ascertained from examining the scientists, Bush will have a real problem signing on nations to go to war with him. I think going to war these days requires not only a sound military, but good public relations.
What it requires is a military that can shoot sttraight. We've got it. And Bush has already said he will go it alone.

More importantly, any nation heading into war must be a nation of people who know exactly why sons and daughters are moving into war. Perhaps this awareness will change and going to war with Iraq will become more popular. But, presently, I don't see the justification once people seriously begin considering the consequences.
How long do you think an Iraq war will take?

How long did Vietnam last?

Wanna bet?
