'Collective bluffing cannot bring about collective security' Nuts. The Cold War was one long bluff.
And so far Iraq has been too.
Message 18431590 NK: Immediately shells and rockets Soul, completely destroying it with conventional, chemical, bio weapons. I suspect the US launches at that point.
US constantly talking with the Chinese and Russians to keep them out of it.. Yeah, I can see the US talking with the Russians and Chinese about what happens to NK after it is defeated. But I can't see either of them favoring NK. They are also potentially its targets and they know it. Neither will miss it if it is destroyed.
NK may also use medium range rockets to drop warheads on American bases and upon cities in Japan further driving up the causalties. Again, launch likely.
NK may even try to drop a long range ballistic missile or two with possibly nuclear warheads on Alaska or Hawaii. Anf the northern half of the Korean peninsula glows in the dark for the next thousand years. Come on, Faultline, that's all-out war.
All panelists agreed the US and SK would prevail but it would likely take 2-6 months of active combat Nuts. Under that scenario, it's 2-6 hours. Get real. The US blows the living bejeesus out of NK under those conditions.
Oh yes, and even the Chinese are afraid that NK missiles may be aimed at Bejing if tChina fails to support NK as 'required'. And if the Chinese are that concerned about NK launching on them, they just might decide their best course is side with the US,
Now NK is looking at China, the US, and Russia against it. Even those idiots have to realize those are impossible odds.
Oh, AND if NK launches on the US? That brings in NATO. Now it's China, the US, Russia, Canada, and Europe.
