I had negotiated with S. Koreans on business issues and have seen from afar N. Korean students while visiting Chinese student cafeteria (their leader poked his head in several times when I had dinner with my student and teacher friends. I thought it strange and asked about the ritual. I was told that the N.Korean students only came into the student cafetaria once EVERYBODY ELSE had vacated it), so I am ;0) qualified to post authoritative on the matter ... they are nuts, and good luck to anyone needing to deal with them.

Chugs, Jay
