Thank-you for the warm welcome. I sure could use a little snack right now because I awakened an hour early this morning. Instead of doing what just about everyone else in the world would do: catch an hour's nap, I looked at the clock, saw the big hand on the twelve, jumped out of bed and began my day. I noticed the house was a little darker than usual but didn't give it any further thought. By the time I got to the kitchen and noticed the oven and microwave clocks, it was too late, I was already wide awake.
I just moved my entire day forward one hour. This worked fine for me, but The Commander wants to eat at the usual times. So I have a choice: sneak a snack, eat early and alone, or grab a bite from your house. First choice will put on weight and the second choice means eating alone. The third choice, leftovers from the weekend at your house seems the most attractive.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
Cheers, PW.
P.S. If I ever begin to post under a new name, people will know it's me: sentences that go on and on and on, almost forever, and a tedious string of P.S., P.P.S., and P.P.P.S's appended to the end. (And my habit of including links to earlier posts.)
P.P.S. The story I posted here was a continuation of an earlier post, where I tricked The Commander ,#reply-18053430, but as I often do, I post the second part of the story first. (I was trying to remain on topic (selling a house)) (I also love to use parenthesis.) |
