Thank you for the post, and the advise about where to look for more pertinent information on the Vietnam War. I still wonder what the old man was talking about in his letter regarding the French, America and Vietnam? Perhaps he is confused? Seems the French gave us some good words of advise on this occasion....and now they are doing it again. We will have to disagree on that.... France has nothing but their own best interest in mind. I understand that, but they are not the ones who lost 3000 people to a horrific act of murder on their home soil. They shouldn't and won't stop America from doing what it takes to protect it's citizens. America cannot be responsible for the policies of the French. M
