Steven,
I culled a couple of your post and, wit a qualfier, gave them high recommendations. Praise much like Schumpeter saying of Marx "he's the best analyst of capitalism ever except he get the long-tern cycle and the need for profit wrong".

JS - And really, what you and the NeoCons are talking about, is something so ambitious, it's the most Utopian Idea in Foreign Relations. You are talking about an embryonic World Government. That's what it amounts to, once you've created a set of rules for all nation-states to follow, and a formal structure to decide when the rules have been broken, and a mechanism to enforce those rules globally. SR - It could be seen this way, yes. It could also be seen as a network of agreements that have some features of a very minimalist government. JS - Maybe the world is ready for an Idea that big. SR -I think the world needs an idea that big.
Right here you sound just like me, more like me than any other poster/blogger/pundit I have read. Early on FADG I claimed that the legacy of 9-11 will be the birth of a set of world governance structures and networks. Some strictly regionally and some global and some multilateral.
So, we agree on the outcome and the today's date. It's a start. BTW, you ask some very good questions in this post and I would to get them to Bill Kristol to get them answered. If you ever want to take the time to remove the PAX American strawman structure and ask you tough question, I will endeavor to get then to Kristol or other non-borged NeoCor for answers.
