The University of Michigan's preliminary March index of consumer sentiment fell for a third straight month to 75.0, its lowest since October 1992, from 79.9 in February, market sources told Reuters on Friday. Economists had forecast a slide to 77.6.

We usually see market bottoms with sentiment in the 70's... When the bombs fall over Saddam's palaces and there is mass Iraqi military surrender early on we'll see a nice pop in the market... Who knows, we might even hear that Osama has been in American hands for over a week...
