That too. But its the managers that need to be aware, more
than technical people. I was never real happy with DR's WSJ
ads, nor their web site or flyers. For example, the Web site
presentation could be far better, I have ideas for that,
but maybe DR-effort is better spent elsewhere.
There should be a starting page with clear pointers to pages
that deal with everything that big customers have been
concerned about. A lot of language can be reused from the
CTI review, they sum up the functionality in a few sentences
very well. Build an artificial session with screenshots
and pictures, so visitors can see how easy it is to use.
Pointers to the 'competition'. Service. Support. Prices.
A cost analysis for a few likely kind workplaces, that
includes indirect benefits. Pointers to existing
happy users (create some if necessary). It is really
possible to do a much better presentation that hypes BT
effectively. As it is, one has to be persistent and
plow through things almost sequentially to fully
understand why its good. It does not capture the
casual visitor.
