MANSFIELD, Mass., Mar 27, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Helix Technology Corporation (NASDAQ:HELX) today announced an added level of e-Diagnostics and predictive"JIT"maintenance support features that are integral parts of its new"TrueBlue(sm)"family of Service Agreements. Under the agreements, Helix can predictively deliver replacement parts or pumps precisely when they are needed, enabling customers to maximize the useful life of key vacuum components, reduce unplanned system downtime significantly, and eliminate the need for costly on-site spare-parts inventories.
Helix said that its new"Performance Blue(sm)"and"Ultimate Blue(sm)"Service Agreements include sophisticated remote system performance monitoring through Helix's secure GOLDLink(R) support platform. Leveraging recently developed, highly refined proprietary centralized monitoring capabilities, Helix observes more than 1,000 aspects of system performance, giving special attention to anomalies that may indicate performance degradation.
