still want to see how anyone has counted Monday/Tuesday as the beginning of an impulse move to new highs

Phoenix, if you take a look at the charts since March 13, you will see an impulse up, followed by a 3 wave pullback, which in case of SPX retraced just about exactly 50% of the advance. What followed, was a strong move up, which didn't yet reach new highs, but has already created
important overlaps. Chart-wise, I see no problem with this move evolving up to at least the usual resistance levels.

Oniscka (who yesterday made a superb call about NDX 1045) published a pretty picture showing the anatomy of the pullback and the evolving up move. Juergen has the comments.
